555. …teach me how to trust my heart, my mind, my inner knowing, the senses of my body, the blessings of my spirit. ~Edited excerpt of a Lakota Prayer

I give you this, one thought to keep.
I am with you still, I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sunlight on the ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain
born of November’s misty morns.

When you awaken in the morning’s hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush…
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
I am with you still,
in each new dawn.

  1. Beautiful Natalie… and what a blessing to be reminded, with such a soothing balm, just as we prepare to kick off our manic madness known as Christmas and Holidays , that He is indeed always with us–in the madness, the noise, the chaos, the travel, the cooking, the shopping, the wrapping, the helping, the working, the Still Small Voice of the Great I AM, remains!!!
    Thank you!!!!
    Much much love and peace!!!

    • Oh me too!!! It is a tragedy and this country is so large that had it been handled appropriately, we could have live comfortably and wisely side by side. I just can’t believe the arrogance of the earlier settlers that thought they could come here and just take away their lands. Hugs, N ❤
