I am heartbroken tonight at what has happened in Paris. I pray that the Lord would comfort the families of those who have been senselessly slaughtered or wounded, that He would heal the wounded and return them to health and wholeness, that He would protect all the responders who are trying to bring an end to the carnage and care for the victims, that He would give leaders, authorities, and enforcers the strength and fortitude to face what lies ahead in the days to come, and that He would put His hand of blessing and safekeeping over Paris, all its citizenry, and the entire country of France. May there be no more heinous crimes against humanity therein. In Jesus’ name! Amen!
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. ~Isaiah 41:10 ✝
Prayers lifted.

I echo those sentiments, Natalie. Tonight is a sad night in France. It is barely a year since the senseless killing at Charley Hebdo, and here we are again talking about another mass killing. I know the people of France will not cower to the terrorists. They will stand united and pull through these difficult times. May God bless and keep them. And I hope the perpetrators of this heinous crime will be brought to justice speedily.

Thank you for that beautiful prayer, Natalie. It perfectly covers all we would hope and pray for individually and collectively. Prayers for all the innocent people struck down and for all the countries threatened by madness and hate.

Dear Heavenly Father we know that not one of those who were killed who Love you will be lost Eternally , they are with you now but our heart aches for those who grieve for them and for the others who were lost and we know yours does too. Thank you for holding them close to your heart and bringing comfort and also help for them to manage the practical things that are needed at this time.
We pray for Karina our dear Christian Sister, that she may be comforted and have inner Joy as good memories come of times spent together with her friend and for her to also have heart assurance that they will be united again one day.
We pray in the precious Name of Jesus our Lord and Saviour.
Thank you Natalie for the remembrance – Anne.
