Listening is a great way of receiving gifts
of wisdom, intelligence and inspiration,
but we only hear.
~Anonymous
Only the briefest of moments
When everything is still
When the world is silent
A magical moment
When there’s just you
And everything God has
Created for you
That moment
Is always there
But the noise of life
The mad rush
Of the day
Is too loud for us
To hear it to see it
To feel it
Sit back
Let your worries
Drift away
Clear your mind
And just listen
Breathe in the breeze
As it splashes
Over you
Listen
Not with your ears
But with your Soul
To the sounds of
The leaves rustling
In the trees and
The song of the birds
Rising like a wave
Listen
Listen with your heart
Listen closely
For there’s only a moment
Only the briefest of moments
And then the magic’s gone
Lost in the chaos
Of the day.

And what? Miss all the fun?? Not listening to you would be like cutting myself off from the other pea in my pod. You make me laugh, you listen to me and my tales of woe, you’re caring and compassionate, you send me little surprises and goodies, you love so many of the same things I do which is great, we’ve can commiserate about our similar circumstances, you write amazing posts that keep my faith strong, and on and on it goes. So why in the sam hill missy, would I not want to listen to you???? I may not be the brightest one on the planet, but I’m not that stupid!!! 😘😘😘😘

I’ve always loved to read Chief Dan George quotes. He was a wise one for sure. More people should take heed of what he has said. I love the pics you chose for this post too.

I love this Natalie. I’ve always loved reading the wisdom of the Native American Indians, the last people who truly loved and took care of this beautiful land our great grandparents took from them and our our grandchildren have corrupted to the point that soon nothing will grow any longer. We have been practicing “scorched earth” policy for so long now that we are winning that battle, and I hope I’m not still here when the battle is over. I’ve already seen too much of it here in my hometown, with concrete trees substituted for the real life-giving ones, so our own future is clear, but I hope it isn’t so advanced in other parts of the country. Ah, I had better get some rest before I become too worked up to try. Hugs, A.

It is very sad indeed. I pray that there continues to increase people who care about Earth and that they can stop it before Eden is completely ruined. Night night! 😊❤️😘🌹

I join you in those prayers Natalie, and apologize for ranting before. Just have to learn to control myself when thinking about the local desecration of our Riverfront. Too much happening in the name of greed, too little in the name of God, but there are still people in the world who care, and there will be a turnaround, I just know there will be. Hugs, A.
