**I began quilting under my sister’s tutelage a year ago and in that time, in addition to helping her with what quilts she has made for friends and family, these in the photos are the ones I’ve created for my family members. I procure fabrics, I sew and piece quilt tops, I assist in getting the the tops sandwiched and ready to quilt; however, she’s the one who actually does the small stitch quilting, except for the one baby quilt in a box you see in underneath the purple quilt. I attempted and enjoyed doing some big stitch quilting on that one. We design all our quilts ourselves, and as you can see color is very much a passion for both of us.

They are all gorgeous, but I think my favorite is the first one since you incorporate that beautiful fabric with the script as the border! 🙂 You have such an artistic eye! Fantastic!

and might I add that they are true works of art and actually very reminiscent of your garden and life with flowers—soft your vibrant, rich in color and pattern—much like your beloved flowers—and a thank you note is forth coming—remember this is the time of year for my servitude at the store—but I have the card out to write 🙂

They are all so lovely! ❤ I love the word border on the first one. 🙂 If I may ask, what inspired the words?

Thank you! I ran across some fabrics with words and thought it would be fun while snuggling up with my quilt on a cold winter’s day it might be fun to read them or remember the fun ideas in them! That one is one I made for me and I absolutely adore it❣️😘

I love that; you’re definitely right. Haha, I’m not snuggling up in it but I was having a lot of fun reading the words and letting my imagination take over. 😄 You have a good eye for combining fabrics to make them! Thanks for sharing them with us. ❤
