**Some days more than others one just needs something special to warm his/her heart and make him/her smile. Today was one of those days for me. So tonight and for the next few Wordless Wednesdays I’m gonna share facess of my family for they always do those things for me. These are photos I took of my youngest grandson Joseph. He’s 15 now and no longer lives near enough for us to spend time with him every week like we once did, but whether near or far  the Joe Man can always make me smile.

  1. He was super adorable, with such childlike wonder – I’m sure at 15 he’s developed newfound teen qualities equally as alluring to the soul. It must be very hard on you not to live near him now, share in his life more often, and in person, as you once did. I know that feeling, I once shared it with my mother for over a decade, and now share it with my dearest lifelong friend who I call my brother, and he, me his sister. He lives in CA, while I’m in FL (not as far as your grandson is from you), but the distance and time zone differences make it very hard. Pictures are WONDERFUL moments of time captured and frozen forever, never to be taken from us. To this day, I still look at so many pictures of my mother and my heart smiles, and at times giggles slip out of my mouth. David (my brother) and I use video chat a LOT – again nothing at all like being together, but WOW does it bring you closer (have you tried that with your grandson?).

I love that you’ve decided to post pictures of your family on Wednesdays. Going through, looking at, and sharing the warmth and jolly that they bring to you is a wonderful way to make yourself, and others, smile. “Joe Man” had quite the personality at that age, it jumps right out of his pictures. In most you can see the joy of a child and life through the eyes of a “young’in,” – but then there’s one when he looks like an old soul in a young body, deep in thought. I LOVE of the playful silliness. Warmth and smiles abound sweet Nitty. xox

    • Nikki and her family live in CO and it’s only a 12 hour drive but we’re just not up to it as much as I’d like. We used to have them once a week for a while every week until they moved. So I really miss them all! I’m

      • Thank you love, and I’m sorry for the change in the distance between you and your family – it’s so hard, as we both know. But, we must be thankful for what we still share with them. ❤ Have a good weekend too sweetheart. And hey – I POSTED AGAIN, it's coming back Nitty!!!!!! I commented about it under "hello frankenstein," explaining what came back, and then I created a new post completely. I feel like I'm breathing for the first time in 2+ years (though in other areas I'm still holding my breath, but this was a something driving me batty for 2+ years, so I'm so happy, relieved and feeling very, very blessed and a tad bit more myself! I don't think you've seen my new post, and you wouldn't have seen the comment I wrote on hello frankenstein, so I wanted to alert you of them.

Love you Largely Nitty – smile all weekend. xox
