Counting one thousand…

Because some have asked, here’a quick update on my surgery. Another sort of hiccup occured this week when they decided there needed to be more mammograms and another sonogram done today. However, after close examination of the results, the radiologist said the doctor has a good chance of dealing with my breast cancer by doing a lumpectomy only at this point. So they have me scheduled for surgery at 12:30 on Monday the 23rd. If the margins are clean and something called the lymph “gate keepers” are still operational, the rest can be managed with 4 to 6 weeks of daily radiation treatments and maybe some chemo. Because this is supposed to be an outpatient surgery, if all goes well, I will be released sometime late Monday to come home. God is still walking with me through this valley, and I always know I can count on Him! He will either heal my body of this cancer and restore my health and wholeness or He will bring me home. Either way it’s a win/win situation. Hugs and blessings, Natalie

    Bisous Bernard

  3. Oh, Natalie… You are facing so much! I am praying that you especially experience the nearness of God as you walk through the coming days! I will be praying on Monday! I do wish for you to know, however, that if they believe they can take care of the cancer with a lumpectomy, then, your doctors believe your cancer is very treatable and your survival rate is extremely high! Praying there are no complications and all is as your physician hopes! You are such a blessing to so many that I’m asking God to bless us for longer! 🙂 ❤ ❤ and hugest of hugs!
