Yay! Today is…

the autumnal equinox, and it actually looks like and feels like autumn may indeed be looming on the horizon already this year here in north central Texas. And why is this surprising?Because normally we would still be experiencing high temps that would extend well into October and maybe even into November. But instead we are seeing signs of an early fall and winter, and I’m thrilled about that! I’m also delighted that rain has been coming in good amounts! So I praise You and thank You O Lord for these things and all Your tender mercies!

  1. Happy Fall. I hope you enjoy and getting relief from that oppressive can be a blessing. We had 100 Fahrenheit which is unusual at this time of the year. Cooler temperatures are prevailing and today is sweater weather. It is my first fall that I will experience in 27 years so I am looking forward to the change of the colors and pumpkins. I am pumpkin crazy and I do love the frost and the smell of fire in old and idle fireplaces. There are more things I like about the fall. Before I write a book I’ll sign off.
