Yes and No Natalie, without having God in their Hearts when Satan and Life brings Hardship, they become angry and bitter and seek revenge or fall down in a mess and turn to addictions and other harmful ways to help them cope or their focus being very Worldly is all about what will make them Happy Clappy regardless of the cost including Eternal.
How our Lord and Saviour encourages and reassures in His Words of Love in Scripture is not just for a few it is for all of us who Love and Obey Him, He knows us too and Walks with us and Talks to us.
When He is with us He gives us His Strength to endure through the Storms, we become Strong as you shared Natalie and remain Joyful in our Hearts in the Hard-times and yes even when there are tears in our eyes, yes there is a Time for Everything.
Isaiah 43:1-3….. Fear not for I have Redeemed thee I have called thee by thy Name thou art Mine. When thou passest through the waters I will be with thee and through the rivers they shall not overflow thee, when thou walkest through the Fire thou shalt not be burned neither shall the Flame kindle upon thee. Jeremiah 29 :11-12 For I know the Thoughts that I think toward you, says The LORD, thoughts of Peace and not of evil, to give you an Expected end.

Yes I agree Natalie of course they do, I was one of them too. I was referring to those who don’t have Faith and never do, they have no Heart repentance showing they believe in Jesus as their Lord and Saviour who is the only way to our Heavenly Father but instead they Trust in themselves or the things of this World until death.
