Lord, it is time.
Summer has been very big.
Lay thy shadow on the sundials,
and on the meadows let the winds go loose.
Command the last fruits that they shall be full;
give them only a few more southerly days,
~Adapted quote by Rainer Maria Rilke
September days have the warmth of summer in their briefer hours but in their lengthening evenings a prophetic breath of autumn. The cricket chirps in the noontide, making the most of what remains of his brief life. The bumblebee is busy among the blossoms of the aftermath, and their shrill and dreamy hum hold the outdoor world above the voices of the songbirds, now silent or departed. ~Rowland E. Robinson
Awake, north wind, and come, south wind! Blow on my garden, that its fragrance may spread everywhere. Let my beloved come into his garden and taste its choice fruits. ~Song of Songs 4:16 ✝

Thanks, V. We are only a few days away from the autumnal equinox and I sure hope that autumn follows soon on its heels. Love, N 🙂 ❤

Oh, me too, Brad! We were up at 97 again today but may get a break with some lower temps this weekend. It has been a long day and as you can tell this post didn’t take long at all to throw up. Have a wonderful weekend, my buzzing buddy! 🙂 ❤

The flowers here are gorgeous- both planted and wild– there’s not been much of a summer they tell us- lots of rain and grey– so it is a wonder- but I think of you when I see them

I miss you as well— I thought about you today as the wild fushia is prolific and gorgeous — today the wild rose hips were like giant cherries– every patch shade of green is punctuated by a profusion of white polka dots—- aka sheep — I’ve decided to stay– getting some land with a rock house which has a red door, a couple of sheep– of which I’ll raise to sheer, selling the wool– it’ll be a place known as ” cookie’s woollies” 🐑🐏
And no, I’ve not been over indulging in the Guinness 😎
Hugs to you dear friend— o’cookie

So good to hear from you. I’m so glad you are having a great time! You’re house sounds wonderful and I adore sheep. So when I move to Paris, we’ll have to visit each other often.
It’s only a short flight from Paris to Ireland. Can’t wait to hear more about it when you get back. Love and hugs to you too, my friend, Madame Natalie

It could be LMS although we’re in an El Nino weather pattern at the moment, so it could be a hot stormy one. Either way I’ll be able to take pics of something.
Love’n Hugs,
Laurence.
