yes here I am–thankfully here and not there today, as in ATL…it’s certainly been the week—along with some sort of flu bug–I’m playing catchup today with bills, dad’s and mine…and organizing his “paper” life–while praying Brenton will one day graduate–least Gregory and I have an aneurysm…I hope you’re over your stomach bug!
Now if only this blasted weather could get its act together—it’s hot a blazes, muggy, humid, with intermittent showers for the last 3 weeks—I’m ready for sun and cool!!! just don’t know if that’s ever going to happen!!!
Hugs out to Texas!!
Oh I’m so glad you got a break from the madness today. And I’m so sorry to hear that you’ve had a flu bug. Oh Brenton will graduate one day, my sister thought her son never would either, but he did and now has a very good and lucrative job. I’m also sorry to hear that your weather is crummy. I pray that you get lots of sun and cooler days very soon. Love and hugs to my lil Cookie! 🙂 ❤ xoxoxo
I have had a history of acid reflux, but after my stroke they took of the medication for that and for 3 years, I didn’t have to deal with it often and it was kept under control easily. But as of late I’ve been eating things I knew I shouldn’t and it finally caught up with me. Last Monday, my stomach started hurting so much that I ended having to call the doc. He prescribed something that has helped a little, but tonight I discovered that the med he prescribed lowers the effectiveness of my plavix which helpt prevent another stroke. And of course it’s Friday and I can call about it until Monday. Not to mention that I really angry that he would prescribe something that would do that. It was two meds I was on before my stroke that one or the other or both probably led to my stroke. At any rate, I’ve lost 6 pounds because I can’t eat much and I feel like someone has kicked the stuffing out of me. But this too shall pass. And I hope it does very soon.
Thanks for asking. Nighty, night. Love, N
