Hunter or hunted
“He was a killer, a thing that preyed, living on the things that lived, unaided, alone, by virtue of his own strength and prowess, surviving triumphantly in a hostile environment where only the strong survive.”
― Jack London

There is one who waits hidden…
Crouching in the high grass…
Searching
Seeking
Watching
Waiting…

Autumn Treasures
walking on a wooded path
mind and breath slowing down
my senses waking and tingling
grateful for the sights and sounds
peace washes over me
attuned to the present moment

You climb on and sometimes the hills are high.
And at other times they are low, but any of them can
Twist and turn and make you feel oh so puny.
Boy it must have been a heck of a twist and turn that got me on yesterday’s ride. Not only did I eat something that tore my stomach up, but as a result I didn’t sleep worth a darn last night. So it has been one of those yucky, rough days, my friends. I hope to be better and back up to snuff tomorrow. Love, Natalie
