My soul bowed into the wind
slender and moving gently on the edge
the dance on breezes elegant
as the water waited for a sigh
from a distant sun.
Unfurling higher to reach
the moments just a touch away from grasping
standing tall and waiting
as the answer settled upon clouds
whispering truth
always known.

Wayward thoughts linger in shadows
as something halts the motion,
tides change course once more
the ebb and flow in and out endlessly
and I hear the heartbeat in the silence
as the light peers eagerly out,
beyond the indigo clouds that lingered
just a little too long.
The wind resumes her dance
softly with the tender reed
and a seed takes flight
destined to be born again tomorrow,
life fulfilled once more.
