Shame says that…

This is the first poppy to bloom in my yard this year, and it is tiny as you can see. Though like us who are flawed and unacceptable to some, Grace says we are cherished. In the same way so too do I cherish this “Lilliputian” papaver harbinger of our coming spring.

To Be the Light

When I find my presence in the Light
and the Light present within me,
and when I become aware, at last,
that I am here to be Light
with all that is, was, and will be,
it is then that my eyes fully open
and the dawn gloriously breaks
to shine through every darkness
and shadow
I thought had broken me.

High recognitions . . . People honor me with their lips,

“The true, pure worship of God, which comes from a grateful heart,
is hard to find among Christians. The true worship of God should be
nothing more than a deeply felt hymn of gratitude toward the Creator
Who bestows us life. But Jesus already said at His time:
“People honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me…””
