As they say Natalie Jesus Loves us just the way we are but too much to let us stay that way and yes we are to be a reflection of Him, in Truth to be conformed into His image.
It is also not Love to watch someone walking in Sin which lets Satan have a foothold in their lives and than separates them from God which grieves Him but our Correction must be in Love and for Love, not condemning.
