The Grace of A Savior ~

Deborah Ann Belka's avatarCHRISTian poetry ~ by deborah ann

God has for us,
an overflowing supply
of mercy and grace
for us to daily apply.

We can put it on,
be it night or day
we just need to ask
for it, when we pray.

Abundant it is,
it will never run out
it’s what being forgiven
is really all about.

God will release it,
as we require
for granting it to us
is His heart’s desire.

For all those in need,
of God’s mercy and favor
all you need is faith . . .
and the grace of a Savior!

~~~~~~~~~
Romans 5:1-2
“Therefore being justified by faith,
we have peace with God through
our Lord Jesus Christ:
By whom also we have access by faith
into this grace wherein we stand,
and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.”
“No one knew the name of this day;
Born quietly from deepest night,
It hid its face in light,
Demanded nothing for itself,
Opened out to offer each of us
A field of brightness that traveled ahead,
Providing in time, ground to hold our footsteps
And the light of thought to show the way…..”
I just wanted…
to thank all if you who prayed for my grandson and sent such lovely, heart-warming and reassuring comments today. My family and I are so blessed by the out pouring of your prayers and well wishes. It’s what sustains us and keeps our spirits up. May the Lord bless all of you always❣️😘
PS: I took down the post tonight, and I didn’t realize that would keep me from personally thanking each one of you individually. So please accept this mass thank you note and forgive this tired old lady.
Resurrections
This is such an awesome post for me to read this morning! Yes, Julie, out of deep despair, He rises to greet us and fill us with hope that all is not lost.
Yahweh is who he is.”
The first thing the Cross does is cross out the world’s word by a Wholly-Other Word,
a Word that the world does not want to hear at any price.
For the world wants to live and rise again before it dies,
while the love of Christ wants to die in order to rise again in the form of God on the
other side of death, indeed, IN death.”
Late last Spring, early summer, I found myself wandering through the garden center of Lowes.
Whenever I’m feeling ‘less then’, blah or downright sad I often find myself wandering
the garden center.
Rows and rows of color, vibrancy and simply life…
abundant in the scents and sights of fullness, always seems to lift my spirits.
