I stand in awe of the Lord God again and again for Your angels have followed us everywhere we’ve been and gone on this trip. Thank you, Jesus! We love you, we adore you, and we praise your holy name!

Here’s a few last images from our Rhine River cruise that ended today. Au revoir to the ancient castles, the multitude of vineyards, and the lush green beauty of this part of Germany.

As with any journey, there are always lovely and not so lovely people who cross your path, angels who protect and guide you, images and interactions that touch and change you, positive and negative experiences that forevermore color your world somewhat differently…

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words but my words will never pass away. -Matthew 24:35 

That’s my mantra today even though it will be 104 degrees here on the Rhine.

I keep them all. With them I shall build my castle…

and shortly thereafter fell in love with Germany. But this dreadful heat wave is still following us everywhere we go!

Thank goodness the cruise ship is airconditioned!

  
When we left Texas, I thought we’d have two weeks away from the dreadful heat! But…it seems the “Heat Beast” has been following us EVERYWHERE. Strausbourg is a beautiful city, but as in Paris and Milano, it is as smoldering hot here this summer as it is in Texas. We leave here at 6 PM on our Rhine River cruise, and I sure hope it’s cooler on the water! Blessings to all!!!
