As some of you already know, I’ve been dealing with a problematic knee and deteriorating knee cap that a surgeon called completely “shot” last week. And so after a year of other doctors trying to solve the problem with various injections and acupuncture, the time has come for a knee replacement. However the quickest the surgery can be done will be either the end of this month or early February. And now that I’ve been hobbling around on it with my arthritic feet for nearly a year, the knee and foot have as of today become too painful for me to get around much at least for the moment. It has even become hard to get from one room to the another in the house even with a cane and doses of pain medication. Tomorrow I will call the doctor to see if the pain med dosage can be increased, but it still could be that I may not be able to write posts for my blog, answer your comments, or read your posts for a while. Please know that I will miss them and each and everyone of you and will be back as soon as I can. In the meantime, any and all prayers for me, both now and during the surgery, will be appreciated. I am a pretty tough old bird and don’t often through in the proverbial towel, but this pain today has had my head down and eyes flowing with tears not unlike this rose. Until my return, much love and huge hugs to all of you as always. Blessings, Natalie
