134. When Love first came to Earth, the Spring spread rose-beds to receive Him. ~Thomas Campbell

A Rose-bud by my early walk,
Adown a corn-enclosed bawk,
Sae gently bent its thorny stalk,
All on a dewy morning. . .
~Robert Burns

In a recent visit to the UK and Paris I came across some amazing roses.  They were not only beautiful but immense, larger than any I’ve ever seen.  Sadly these photos don’t show how truly gorgeous and huge they were.  Nevertheless for me they will serve as a lovely reminder of lands and flowery faces that captivated and captured my heart.

Every day I will praise you and extol your name for ever and ever.  ~Psalm 145:2  ✝

  2. Hi would you mind stating which blog platform you’re working with?
I’m going to start my own blog soon but I’m having a hard time deciding between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution
and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design
and style seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something unique.
P.S Apologies for getting off-topic but I had to ask!

    • I’m hosted by WordPress.com. I don’t know the others that you mentioned so I can’t compare. But I have been happy with WordPress. You get a choice of themes and they all seem to be very good. I accidentally picked the one I’m currently working with but have decided I really like it. Have a great day. Blessings, Natalie
