332. For to have complete satisfaction from flowers, you must have time to spend with them. ~Princess Grace of Monaco

As I work among my flowers, I find myself talking to them…

Image

Reasoning and remonstrating with them…

Image

And adoring them as if they were human beings…

Image

Much laughter I provoke among my friends by so doing…

Image

But that is of no consequence…

We are on such good terms, my flowers and I!

The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of the birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land… ~Song of Solomon 2:12 ✝

Thank you, Jesus, that you save, you heal, you restore, and you reveal Your Father’s heart to us! You have captured me with grace and I’m caught in Your infinite embrace!

  2. so pretty Natalie—–the “adoring” one—is that an iris that has yet to open? That one is the most stunning—gorgeous job my friend —you just keep doing whatever it is you’re doing with them—-you have been blessed with the “gift”
Hugs to you my gift friend—cookie

    • In enjoy my conversations with my flowers too and sometimes I even sing to them. I often tell them how beautiful they are and thank them for blooming in my garden! And if one of them is struggling I’ve been known to pray over them. Hugs, Natalie 🙂

  4. I don’t think I would get anything else done if I had those gorgeous flowers in my backyard! Beautiful photography, Natalie! Thank for talking to your beauties and taking such good care of them for us to enjoy! Blessings and hugs ~ Laura

    • That’s funny that you should say. James often asks if he should just bring a cot out into the yard so that I can just sleep out there. I would rather spend time out there and/or in church than anywhere else on earth. I’m glad you enjoyed my pretty babies. Hugs and blessings to you too, Laura. Natalie 🙂

    • Thank you, I’m so glad you find things you like here. I sure wish the rain would pour down here. We’ve had a little rain this spring but not nearly enough. I saw sign today about water rationing. I pray this decade long drought ends soon.
      Enjoy your evening. Hugs, N
