I was up early this morning, and these are the views I saw as I moved the camera lens to get closer and closer to the back of our deep lot. I took them from my chair inside the house. Since it was a scene I’d thought I might not see this year after our harsh winter and a very late hard freeze, it was a heavenly reminder that “God’s in His Heaven” and “All’s right with the world!”
I welcome this new day.
It is a gift to me, a new creation, a promise, a resurrection.
I am thankful to be alive this morning,
and I give praise to God!
May I not miss the beauty in each new day!
May I miss not the opportunity to be joyful about all God’s holy gifts!
May I miss not the wonder in all that Yahweh has made!
Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. ~Colossians 3:16 ✝
Thank you, Lord Jesus, that you save, you heal, you restore, and you reveal Your Father’s heart to us! You have captured me with grace and I’m caught in Your infinite embrace!

What a very beautiful garden you have, Natalie. So glad you shared it with us all. ~ Amelia ♥

Thank you, Michelle! It’s the result of a lot of hard work, but it feeds my soul and so when my aching back hurts like it does today, I regret not a minute of the suffering. Hugs, Natalie 🙂

The love you put into your beautiful garden shows. I only wish I had a green thumb, I would not mind the work if it would be as beautiful as yours. Kudos Natalie.

Thank you, Patricia. I didn’t begin gardening until I was in my 50’s and did think I had a green thumb either. So you just never know what might happen until you start “tickling the soil with a hoe.” Blessings, Natalie 🙂

mine are still yellow, covered in pollen. I’ve got to wash down the front porch and deck just as soon as the yellow cloud passes on. 🙂

These pictures of your garden are beautiful, and so are the thoughts you have shared. I am considering these words:
“I welcome this new day.
It is a gift to me, a new creation, a promise, a resurrection.
I am thankful to be alive this morning,
and I give praise to God!”
I fall so short each day in living a life that is pleasing to the Lord, But it is my desire to be transformed. I am hoping maybe this day I will do better. Pray for me.
Blessings,
Theresa

First of all I’m so glad you enjoyed my post and my garden. Secondly, Theresa, we all fall short each day of pleasing the Lord and of living the life He would have us live, and none no more than I. I hope each day is better but then at the end of the day I find that I’ve not moved far, if any, off square 1. So let’s pray for each other. May the Lord transform us into His likeness and may we live the life He has ordained for us. Hugs, Natalie 🙂

Even though your garden is so lovely the most beautiful part of your post is that you give the glory to God xxx

Thank you, Hope. He is the reason I have a garden and my garden is where I reconnected with Him after a lenghty derailment in my faith journey. And so yes, all the glory goes to Him. Hugs, Natalie 🙂

Thank you, David. I’m glad you liked my garden offering. Here in Texas with our long and very hot summers, this kind of rose beauty doesn’t last long. In the fall we sometimes get another burst of it and there are some other things that manage to bloom in the summer months but this kind of rose glory fades as those temperatures rise and the drought drags on. Blessings, Natalie 🙂

Thank you, Cynthia. I’m so glad you enjoyed the post. Gardens are perfect expressions of God’s grace, and they can and do bring some wayward souls back into His keeping and that leads to their willingness to walk the path again which leads to his/her salvation. Blessings, Natalie 🙂

Thank you. I’m so glad you enjoyed my post. Yes, Annette this is a portion of my garden. Spring’s beauty begins here and then moves on into my other garden spots. I especially love mornings and dusk in the gardens. The lighting at those times is almost magical. I wish you happy gardening as well. Hugs, Natalie 🙂
