La couleur bleue
Toujours
Me parle de Dieu
~Written by Frédéric at: http://poemsandpoemes.wordpress.com/about/
Translation:
The color blue
always
speaks to me about God
By reading the scriptures
I am so renewed that all nature
seems renewed around me.
The sky seems to be
a pure, a cooler blue,
the trees a deeper green.
The whole world is charged
with the glory of God and I
feel fire and music under my feet.
~Thomas Merton
Life has loveliness to sell,
all beautiful and splendid things,
blue waves whitened on a cliff,
soaring fire that sways and sings,
and children’s faces looking up,
holding wonder like a cup.
~Sara Teasdale
Praise the Lord. How good it is to sing praises to our God, how pleasant and fitting to praise Him! ~Psalm 147:1 ✝
**All three photos are of different varieties of morning glories that have bloomed in my yard.

Stunning photos, especially the last one. There is so much beauty around us. 😀

Thank you. I just adore morning glories and they are so photogenic. Yes, even after a scorching summer, there is still beauty all around us. Just have to look a little harder to find it sometimes. I pray you have a great week, Raewyn.
Hugs, N 🙂 ❤

These photos are so stunning, Natalie. My husband asks what camera and lens you are using.

Thank you! I have a Nikon D80, Cynthia. The lens I use most of the time is one that goes from 18 mm up to 135 mm. The camera itself has a setting for flowers and that’s what I use to take my flower photos. Hugs, Natalie 🙂 ❤

Great shots, beautiful blues and I love the Merton quote—that’s a thought now isn’t it. . .what color reminds me of God. . . I’ll get back to you on that 🙂

Thanks, Cookie. The third morning glory is called Heavenly Blue and it nearly always reminds of the Lord. When you figure it out be sure to let me know what color reminds you of Him. Lots of hugs and love, N 🙂 ❤

Ah Natalie, I’m honored and humbled that you decided to share my poem about the blue color, in fact everything speaks to us about God… I would like to thank for from the depths of my heart!
Bryan Batt is very right, all colors are ALL magic!
The quote by Sara Teasdale is so touching and beautiful…
The last picture is georgeous Natalie, it is such a luminous, powerful (but very mild at the same time) blue…
MERCI ce partage chère Natalie.
Have a nice and beautiful week my dear friend ♥♥♥

Thank you so much. I’m so glad you enjoyed my photos. Remember all it takes to do something well is practice. In the beginning my photos weren’t all that great either, but that’s the beauty of digital cameras; you can just shoot away to your heart’s content and eventually you start getting some nice results. Then if you have a good editing program on your computer, you can do a lot to enhance them even more. Blessings and hugs, N 🙂 ❤

Hi Natalie. You’re so welcome. Yes, the colors are so vibrant and striking. Oh yes, practice. That’s really what I need. I just need to find the time to do so. I even have a digital photography that explains everything simplified. I just need to find the time. Oh, if I only had another 12 hours in a day.
Bless you too.

Thank you, Bette. I am honored that you would choose me for this award, but I don’t accept awards as what I do is not for myself but for the glory of the Lord alone. Agains, thank you for the thinking of me. It’s enough to be followed by great folks like you. Blessings and hugs, Natalie 🙂 ❤
