I pull my hat brim down,
and look across this land,
that my daddy gave to me.
Wide open spaces, filled
with trees and hills
as far as the eye can see,
and as the sun rises,
I say a thankful prayer,
before my day comes to a start
cause if you could see what I see,
then you would know that
God must be a cowboy at heart.

Thanks, Cookie. I took that of a barrel racer at a rodeo and love the show of movement as she reached the last barrel.
Love right back to you from Texas. Hugs, N 🙂 ❤

Thank you so much, Aquileana. It’s one of my favorite photos that I’ve taken. We were at a rodeo and I cought this barrel racer as she rounded the end barrel. I loved not only that I captured her in motion but also the way it blurred the background into those bands of color as if they too were moving. Blessings and best wishes to you as well. N 🙂 ❤
