In order to see birds,
it is necessary to become
part of the silence.
~Robert Lynd
Birds are a miracle
because they prove to us
there is a finer,
simpler state of being
which we may attain.
~Doug Coupland
You have to believe in happiness,
or happiness never comes…
Ah, that’s the reason a bird can sing –
On its darkest day he believes in Spring.
~Douglas Malloch
There is nothing in which the birds
differ more from man than the
way in which they can build and yet
leave a landscape as it was before.
~Robert Lynd
He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. ~Psalm 91:4 ✝

I love birds too. I feed lots of birds and have lots of bird houses around the yard. That way I can see them making nests, hear the peep-peeps when the eggs hatch, watch them feed the fledglings, and every now and then I’m lucky enough to see one of them when it finally takes to flight. Hugs and best wishes to you too. Love, N 🙂 ❤

What wonderful words of inspiration and wisdom. To be still and let nature speak is a way to be close to the Creator. Have a lovely weekend. 🙂

Indeed, if we can be still and listen, nature has a lot to tell and teach us. And the Lord’s Presence is always papable when we’re quiet and still. I pray you have a wonderful weekend too. Hugs, N 🙂 ❤

There are no words to describe how wonderful these pictures are…stunning, magnificent, fabulous come to mind but they don’t really expelling the joy and true beauty of the birds. You were dropped from my Reader, along with many others. I’m sorry if I have missed a lot of your posts. I was still getting them when you were away. I hope you had a fabulous time. 🙂

I’m so glad you enjoyed the birdies. I hate it when someone gets dropped from my reader, and I’m so glad you are back. Yes we had a fabulous time. Wish it hadn’t been hot as hades, but oh well. Hugs, N 🙂 ❤

I’m so glad you had fun in spite of the heat. I’m so tired of people being dropped all the time. Trini was dropped twice in a month. I don’t even know how many people are gone.

Thanks. I don’t know why that happens but it shouldn’t. I always worry about whose missing that I haven’t caught too. 🙂 ❤

I love birds. I adore them. Their sound. Colours. So pure. Beautiful.
But lately I’ve been overwhelmed with the thought that birds are disappearing, along with insects. Where I live (in Nairobi, Kenya) there is just one bird that I hear every morning. It is such a lonely sound, so sad and prolonged, that you’d think it is calling to someone or something that would never come.

Me too, Peter. Oh that is so sad that they are disappearing from Nairobi. I had a n alarming shortage of butterflies last year, but I’ve seen many more this year. So maybe it’s a cyclical thing. I hope your birds come back. Blessings, Natalie 🙂
