The Elves August 7, 2015 by nataliescarberry 9 I love the playfulness of this! Dan Frugalberg There amidst the undergrowth, or high the forest top, Where the birds, they gather, or the hills, their rocky crop. With faintly steps, discerning, nary a rest or stop, See the elves, they’re scurrying! Wings and feet, a hop! ~ D.F. I love this. Reminds me of the old poem, There are Fairies at the Bottom of My Garden. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
Fairies are high and low in meadow, forests and woods. They are, what Sherlock Holmes would say,” Mischief is afoot!” They are so pretty they blend in well with flower gardens, too. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
Oh, I love that, mischief afoot. Great way to describe the fairies and elves and sometimes even Natalie. 🙂 ❤ LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
