In out-of-the-way places in your heart,
Where your thoughts never think to wander,
A beginning has been quietly forming,
Waiting until you were ready to emerge.
Though your destination is not yet clear
You can trust the promise of this opening…
May your heart never be haunted by ghost-structures of old damage.
May you come to accept your longing as divine urgency.
And waste your heart on fear no more.
~Both passages are excerpts
from John O’Donohue
For the Lord takes delight in His people; He crowns the humble with victory. ~Psalm 149:4 ✝

These quotes posted by Sacred Touches (Natalie Scarberry) are simply beautiful and encouraging. How I long to discover this place within myself where I’m no longer held back by fear. It starts with trusting in God in all things…

I love that line that “your heart must never be haunted by ghosts–structures of old damage—Hallelujah to be the new creation in Christ—for all that was old and tarnished in now new and brilliant—-Brilliant my friend–cookie

“For the Lord takes delight in His people”. I’ve always loved that. Such a positive feeling of happiness. I’ve once again claimed happiness as part of my life Natalie. All is well again, because The Lord has His arms wrapped around all of my loved ones, both here and in heaven. Some day we will be together again in a much better place. they just got there before I did, and it would be selfish to continue feeling sorry for myself. I can still miss them, but they hear me when I talk to them, and they find ways to help me when I need them.
Hugs to you Natalie.

Oh, Angie, I’m so glad you’ve claimed happiness once more. You are such a delight and bring happiness to others and it would have been a shame if you had not made that choice. Hey, we all have to grieve in our own way and time. You will always miss them, but they never really leave you, in spirit at least. Take care my friend. It’s so good to hear from you again!
Love and hugs, N 🙂 ❤

It feels so good to be happy and laughing again Natalie. I had to choose the path to take, just as I did once before, and I choose to live in happiness. Depression just isn’t much fun, but laughter is, so I love to laugh, and my friends are around to help me with that. And you, my friend, with your prayers, have helped immensely. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Hugs, love and Peace. A.
