Early mornings are cool now though autumn is still young.
Dew on the lotus scatters pure perfume;

The harvest moon hung round and high
It dodged clouds high in the sky,
The stars winked down their love and mirth
The Autumn season was giving birth.

  7. Wonderful post–I found the words in the title especially intriguing and thought provoking: “The music of summer yet flutters in the middle of the day around Autumn seeking its former nest.” I’d never thought about the shift from summer to fall exactly that way, but it is so true.
