In everyone’s life, at some time, our inner fire goes out.
It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being.
We should all be thankful for those people
who rekindle the inner spirit.
~Albert Schweitzer
Each day holds a surprise. But only if we expect it can we see, hear, or feel it when it comes to us. Let’s not be afraid to receive each day’s surprise, whether it comes to us as sorrow or as joy It will open a new place in our hearts, a place where we can welcome new friends and celebrate more fully our shared humanity. ~Henri Nouwen
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. ~Psalm 34:18 ✝

Beautiful Natalie. One of my favorite songs, and that wonderful rose. I wondered if you grew it, then saw it came from Pinterest. As usual, you bless me with your words, and so appropriate each time. It always feels as if you are inside me and read my feelings. Peace, blessings and HUGS to you, my dear friend. A.

If you ever learn the name of that one please share it Natalie. I don’t have a place to plant roses, but it is so lovely, I would like to know the name to go with the photo. I went on Pinterest and found it also. Love and Peace, A.

This had a lot that means so much to me, my Mom’s name is Rosalie, the maple syrup reminds me of my as Aunt Amy and her sending me homemade maple syrup for my birthday. Pretty and sweet. Like you, Natalie ♡

You know you have a friend in many. I love James T. and Carole K. The whole thing can get me sentimental, Natalie.
P.S. I know the maple syrup was in next post but was too tired to separate them. 🙂

Beautiful thoughts in your Post and comments Natalie, it is True that our closest friends were once strangers until they walked into our lives and hearts.
Right now you are a stranger to me Natalie but I know in Christ Jesus our friendship will blossom with a sweet fragrance.

Indeed there were Anne, and it so lovely when they do walk into our lives and hearts. I’m looking forward to getting to know you and know that our paths have crossed for a reason. I pray that Jesus indeed allows our time together to blossom and give off a sweet fragrance.
I read your about page and was so saddened by what your adoptive “mum” did and said. That was so very cruel. My two grandsons are adopted, and I love them as much as any other children my daughter might have had. She miscarried the only natural child she ever conceived and though there is sadness in that loss it will never diminish how much the boys mean to me. The oldest one has been struggling this last year with the circumstances of his adoption. And I pray that one day he come to realize he was not a mistake. He is part of God’s divine plan and has an ordained divine purpose to fulfill. Hugs, N 🙂 ❤

Thank you Natalie for your Loving and kind concern but I’m not sure where you found the link about my Mum and my Adoption, as it is not on my About page, it would help me if you commented on the Post itself than I would know what your referring to.
As for my Mum she had a kind heart, she took in three unwanted Children and helped others, she did her best but sadly Money became her focus and although very wealthy when she died most of her money went to her own Children, my Adopted brother and myself could have contested her Will and we would of won but it was what she wanted and money is not my god.
Mum was also an aggro Atheist most of her life and at times abusive and domineering but she had been very hurt by those who called themselves Christians and by those she Trusted just like many others have been and some have or are also being deceived today by False Teachers, yes in the Church but also through the Occult, New Age, Cults and Paganism, which is what God tells us will happen in the End Times, we need to be prepared and to know His Truth and reject Satan’s lies, we need to ask for God’s wisdom and empowering by The Holy Spirit.
Thanks again Natalie, I will seek to catch with some of more of your Posts over the next few days.
Blessings – Anne.
