I see so many blessings around me, but I lose sight of them so easily as I mourn over blessings I have lost. Thank you so much for this beautiful post that urges us on to look up and around and behold the blessings that surround us.
Thanks again, Staci. I haven’t had to deal with acid reflux in years but this week it hit me with a vengeance and knocked me right off my feet. I’ve lost 3 lbs from not being to eat much, but the doc put me on a med yesterday that seems to be working some. But it will take some time before my stomach completely settles down again. This is the worst it has ever been, and I am beyond ready for it to be gone. Love and hugs, N 🙂 ❤
Oh wow. That’s awful Natalie. My mother-in-law gets acid reflux. She doesn’t really try to avoid the foods that provoke it though, like coffee and white bread.
That’s crazy, 3 lbs already? In just one week. You must not be eating at all.
I’m so sorry Natalie. I’m going to pray for you right now.
Hope things take a 360 degree turn around for you.
Love and hugs, S.

I found the Blessing Natalie that is with me in the Storms that life brings as shown below.
Isaiah 43:1-3 – Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Saviour.”
Jeremiah 29 :11-12 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Lamentations 3: 33 For God doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men.
That’s a real consolation for me, Natalie, hugs Mitza
