If you have a trust in and an expectation of your own solitude,
everything that you need to know will be revealed to you.

OH yes, I would love to have the solitude to relax and maybe even start painting one day. Or at least start sketching. I really used to enjoy that but life got in the way.

Great quotes and image. Solitude is something we all need. I am an extrovert but I need solitude. I need to hear my heart beating and investigate what is in my mind. Thank you for sharing this post. Hugs, Barbara

I am a firm believer in the importance of shutting out the never-ending din of noise that berates our minds bodies and souls day in and day out–seeking that oh so sacred time of silence and solitude–for it is in the quiet and solitude when we can finally actually hear God call our name

Amen and amen, my friend! I just have to have my down and quiet time. You and I both had to deal with huge amounts of never-ending and often senseless noise in the classroom. Here’s the peace and quiet that opens the door to Grace! Hugs, N 🙂 ❤

I think that is why I so relish the silence and quiet nowadays—I no longer even listen to the radio in the car—as I think you are right in that we spent so many years in a din of noise, chatter and chaos otherwise known as high school 🙂

Thanks so much for this beautiful post! I appreciated it so much I wrote it down ☺ As an artist I can so well relate to what was said… it’s nice to have such a poetical reminder of its benefits.

Oh it would be a great spot, wouldn’t it, Charlie?! I have similar spots in my yard as well. And old Einstein had some great things to say, I’ve found.

Oh this isn’t mine, Robin. I wish it were though. I do have little places to sit and think and enjoy in my yard, I just haven’t thought to take photos of them.
But next spring, I shall do that. Ooooh I’m sure that labyrinth is a wonderful peaceful place to visit. It is beautiful indeed. Hugs, N 🙂 ❤

I loved this. I really identify with it. There is a quote by L.M Montgomery that I like that expresses the same idea. I will have to go find it. 🙂
Hugs and Blessings,
