I was up at 5 AM which is just way, way too early for me to have to start cooking, but oh my was the meal ever so good. And I’m thankful but now I’ve eaten much too much. So woe is me at least for a little while!

Simply it is the after affect of good company and good food.:)

I’m feeling much the same—from the cooking marathon of the past week to today’s clearing away fall, pumpkins, gourds making way for garlands, wreathes, candles and a myriad of lights—I’m one tired turkey, I mean, cookie 🙂 I bet your celebration was delish—any cooking beginning at 5AM just has wonderful written all over it….rest my sweet little tumbleweed—as I too now have my feet up 🙂

Oh, peachy, I’ll bet you are worn out. I didn’t even come close to cooking as much as you did and what I did was more than enough. We did enjoy our meal and it was very good. Everybody brought something although I did the bulk of it. But it was my choice and I’m glad I did it. You rest too, my little GP. TT has taken it easy tonight and will again tomorrow. Love and hugs, the Texas Tumbleweed 🙂 ❤
