My sister got to the hospital this morning just in time to see them take her husband off life support. Then he waved to her and began talking and laughing with the nurses! God is so awesome and good!
Another thing to consider is the timing of your brother-in-law’s transplant. In the midst of your sadness over the pending move of your daughter, God threw in this distraction to give you and your husband a sense of purpose – – a moment to redirect your energies so you are not consumed by sorrow. Isn’t God amazing?
I’m confident things will work out for the best, just trust Him and allow Him to guide your path. He knows best!
Thanks, Nico. It is such a blessing. My sister was divorced for a long, long time and when she met Dick 8 years ago, it was a dream come true for both of them. And I was breaking my heart that she might lose him after waiting so long for someone to spend her life with again. And neither of us have ever healed completely after losing our dad to a heart attack when he was 51. She was only 15 and I was 18 at the time and yet it’s still a loss that haunts us both almost daily. 🙂 ❤
A sense of loss is so difficult to handle sometimes. I’m glad things went well! God bless you and your family, including your sister and brother in law.
