I hope people expect or understand I will cry at a drop of a hat, along with being affected by things I see unfair or unkind in the world. Sometimes people don’t “get me,” Natalie. I played weekend catch up here. 🙂
This is something I’ve struggled with my whole life – wanting to be tougher, trying to grow thicker skin. I can be tough when I have to be, but I’m finally beginning to honor my sensitivity.
That is very true, Maniparna. Sad, but true. Many of us end up becoming tougher because of that treatment.
