what a lot of people don’t know.. is that digging in the dirt with your bare hands allows you to absorb all those yummy minerals in the soil straight through your fingertips. I tried to get a GARDEN idea passed one time, to help the homeless, let them help to take care of a garden, because those minerals are desperately needed in their diet. And they would be connecting with earth, getting fresh veggies and minerals, and feeling so useful… but they didn’t go for it. Still, never wear gloves while working with soil, it’s SO good for you and keeps you healthy. 🙂
This was a marvelous post with a garden and such wonderful words to accompany it. Yes, we need to take care of ourselves and eat healthy foods and take of our Dear Mother Earth, too. Hugs for this lovely post, Natalie! 🙂
love it, beautiful – reminds me of summers spent at camp, playing in the mud

So very true. I love when I can get out in the gardens, I get totally lost in closeness to earth and God.

Interesting. I don’t like to wear gloves anyway and now I know that it’s a good thing. Thanks for sharing that info. Hugs, N 🙂 ❤

Energy from the earth has to be more than science, more than chemical reactions. A powerful living organism. Glad I’m not the only one who feels that.
