I never could get used to that bitter aftertaste of coffee. Always woke up to the wonderful smell each morning while I lived at home, and wondered if I would ever be considered grown up enough to drink it, then tried my first cup and it was so disappointing. I still love the smell, and keep a small jar of instant on hand for my “nasal coffee break”, but my caffeine fix comes from chocolate of cherry coke. Hot chocolate in the winter, a nice way to warm up after rolling out from under the covers, and a cold cherry coke in summer to shock the heated bod into working again. For good or bad, it works, and I still get to stick my nose in the jar for a sniff of that lovely smell that just doesn’t live up to its potential.
Every morning holds the promise of new things we just have to wake up and greet the day with a smile and thoughts of what can be done. Of course that first cup of coffee is a good wake up call. 🙂
Coffee helps make it possible!! :):):)

It does for so many apparently. I love the smell of it, but I never acquired a taste for it. I prefer tea or hot chocolate. 🙂 ❤

Is coffee the predominant smell or just the results of the wake-up one?

I love the smell and it is a good wake up smell, but I don’t drink it. I’m a tea or hot chocolate kind of girl. 🙂 ❤

That’s what the others have said too though I’m not a coffee drinker. I prefer tea or hot chocolate or water. 🙂 ❤
