Roses of the field whisper divine poetry,
but you must listen carefully to hear it
because noise from the wheels of progress
drowns out everything that sings.
~Edited poem by Judith Cody

You love the roses – so do I. I wish
The sky would rain down roses!
Why will it not?
Then all the valley would be pink and red
And soft to tread on. They would fall as light
As feathers, smelling sweet; and it would be
Like sleeping and like waking, all at once!
~Edited poem by George Elliot

He(the Lord) will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. ~Psalm 91:4 ✝

You seem to have a green thumb with roses Natalie. How wonderful that is. Mine is black where roses are concerned, and not black as in dirty black. More like the black plague. At least I’m having some small amount of luck with my house plants this year — almost. Kinda. Sorta. I pray a lot over them. This post is lovely. Hugs. Angie

That would be so nice. If it were only possible.
I got another orchid yesterday — yellow this time, bigger than the one I already have. My plants are all nearly jumping out of their pots with some kind of growing spurt lately.
