Oh how true (at least for myself). The masks we wear for others and as we step out into the world hide our true selves so much so that we may forget who we truly are.

I’ve added a lot of stuff over the years that I thought was me, and maybe it was for a while, but now, I’m ready to let go of some of the baggage I’ve collected. Maybe I’ll keep a few pieces that are useful, but I’m letting go of the ones that have cluttered up my soul. I’m freeing the deeper me, the truer me.
