Listen to the gentle rain;
listen to the stomping thunder;
listen to the loose laughter;
listen to the emptying tears;
listen to the rhythmic breathing;
listen to the heart’s determined drum;
listen to the hushed inner voice;
listen to the pesky outer call.
Listen, my friend, slow down and listen,
and feel your gifted oneness
with the Spirit of all.
