fried squash blossoms are divine—dipped in a light batter and gently fried—-some people stuffed them and fry them, I just like them plain—I had them years ago in Florence. They were so good, we ordered another plate following the meal—a pre dessert of fried squash blossoms—I’ve never tried frying them myself—you need very fresh right off the vine blossoms—gently cleaned of dirt, and the batter is like a light tempura type of batter—better than fried okra 🙂
