To Be the Light

When I find my presence in the Light
and the Light present within me,
and when I become aware, at last,
that I am here to be Light
with all that is, was, and will be,
it is then that my eyes fully open
and the dawn gloriously breaks
to shine through every darkness
and shadow
I thought had broken me.
