Many of you have asked that I show you pictures of my yard, but since our house is on a fairly large lot, the flowerbeds are scattered here, there, and everywhere. So it’s really hard to get all of them in in only one or two photos. Thus all I can offer are some photos of portions of it to try to give you who expressed an interest in it an idea of my happy place. Several shots are actually taken of some of the same sections of the yard, but they were taken on different days and/or at different times of the year.

This was once a view from my porch outside Natalieworld as I looked back at the northeast corner of the yard.
Part of this is the same area as above but it included more of what ran further along the back fence.

This was a view one day from the back of the yard looking up at Natalieworld as well as the north entrance from the front yard.
This was a view one morning from my chair in the house which over looks the porch area of Natalieworld.
Another view from my chair as I looked out across the patio.

This was an early springtime view from the house overlooking the back of the yard on the north side.

If you’d entered the backyard on the northside of the house that summer, you’d have seen this bed which runs eastward along our neighbor’s north fence.

If you’d entered the yard from the south gate on that very early spring day,
you’d have seen James lounge chair on the not yet fully greened grass,
my rocking chair, the French doors that lead into Natalieworld,
and the rose adorned arch over my little porch
as well as the beds along and behind that addition to the house.

This and the one below weres views from my rocking chair as I looked towards the back of our yard one day.

If you had entered the yard through the south gate that July,
below would have been the view as you looked
back towards the shed and back gate.

That’s all for now folks, I’m sorry that I couldn’t find any photos of the front flower beds or the ones along either side of the house. But as they are long, narrow beds, it’s hard to get good angles of those.

You have a beautiful yard. No wonder you like to sit out there on nice days. ❤ ❤ ❤

As delightful as I would have imagined. I’m always amused at ‘yard’, because for us that is a small working area with no flowers 🙂

Interesting! What do you call the grassy area around a house? And are the flowerbeds called g the garden even if they are spread out and/or separated by the house? 😊❤️

Yes – it’s all part of the garden. The whole area including the house would be called the plot
