    Looking forward (as bad things are happening) and trying to "live in the moment" becomes like special, precious moments. My Dad knew 4 months was "it" and he told us to bring in jokes to dinner and when we gathered together as a family. He told us he would have "passed" on the chemo since every bit of him ached and his appetite was like a baby bird's.
