Let us bless the air,
Benefactor of breath,
Keeper of the fragile bridge
We breathe across.
~John O’Donohue
The Dragonfly
You are made of almost nothing
But of enough
To be great eyes
And diaphanous double vans;
To be ceaseless movement,
Unending hunger,
Grappling love.
Link between water and air,
Earth repels you.
Light touches you only to shift into iridescence
Upon your body and wings.
Twice-born, predator,
You split into the heat.
Swift beyond calculation or capture
You dart into the shadow
Which consumes you.
You rocket into the day.
But at last, when the wind flattens the grasses,
For you, the design and purpose stop.
And you fall
With the other husks of summer.
~Louise Bogan
Who is like you, Lord? Who is like you — in majestic in holiness, awesome in glory, working wonders? ~Exodus 15:11 ✝
Thank you, Jesus, that you save, you heal, you restore, and you reveal Your Father’s heart to us! You have captured me with grace and I’m caught in Your infinite embrace! Like Saint Hildegard Lord, may I too be a feather on your holy breath and spread, like seeds, the gospel abroad.

Thank you, Cookie. My arm is actually a bit better today. I’ve been taking tylenol, icing it, and using Biofreeze for a few days and amazingly enough I woke up in less pain this morning. Hugs and love, Natalie 🙂

Thanks so much for sharing this wonderful post Natalie. The Scripture and your notation at the end are especially timely. There is so much going on around the world. everybody wants to be the boss. But our God reigns Supreme and one of these fine days He is coming back to take control.
Thanks again. God blesses.
