Refuse to fall down
If you cannot refuse to fall down,
refuse to stay down.
If you cannot refuse to stay down,
lift your heart toward heaven,
and like a hungry beggar,
ask that it be filled.
You may be pushed down.
You may be kept from rising.
But no one can keep you from lifting your heart
toward heaven
only you.
It is in the middle of misery
that so much becomes clear.
The one who says nothing good
came of this,
is not yet listening.

  1. Oh ya! A tough pull to swallow, but a good one.
Hope you had a lovely Christmas N. I will be catching up in your posts soon. I saw one with an amazing angel painting. I want to try and do one similar.

      • It was nice. We celebrate on Christmas eve at night. We were at my in-laws with a bunch of family. Outdoors of course. The evening was actually a bit cool, believe it or not. I even put on a light cardigan to keep my arms warm.
It’s been busy, my routine has been shot. I’m no good without routine N. Argh. Hopefully after New Year’s I’ll be able to get some routine back.
        Hugs and blessings.

    • Oh, I’m so glad you find things in my posts that satisfy a need. Of course you may reblog anything I post, and you don’t need to ask in advance. I’m honored that you would find anything I post worthy of reblogging. Love and blessings to you too, Belinda!
