Every morning is a fresh beginning.
Every day is the world made new.
Today is a new day.
Today is my world made new.
I have lived my life up to this moment,
to come to this day.
This moment–this day– is as good
as any moment in all eternity.
I shall make of this day–
a heaven on earth.
This is my day of opportunity.
~Dan Custer
Seize the morning, seize the moment, seize the day, and seize the blessings that come your way. Get rid of all hesitation, tell your loved ones how much you love them, express gratitude to the Lord above and let your spirit soar. Don’t let your history interfere with the clean slate of this new day. Be yourself, make the most of what you have, worry not about what you have not, and rejoice in the gift of life this day.
When I stand before thee at day’s end,
thou shalt see my scars and know
that I had my wounds and also my healing.
~Rabindranath Tagore
This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it. ~Psalm 118:24 ✝

Thanks, Brad. When I saw that tulip in my greenhouse I thought what perfect example of a cup, and so it worked out perfectly for this post. Hugs, N ❤ 🙂

I found myself up earlier than usual as well as my knees had ached much of the night–my sympathy pains no doubt 🙂 and it is true—to wake each morning, ready to seize the day—in the name of triumph and He who is Holy—so grand!!!
My love wings to Texas on this blustery cold, but thankfully sunnyish day 🙂

Yes, Peachy, I thought of you when I saw that one blooming in my greenhouse. And it’s just lovely to have a piece of you here. I’m so sorry your knees were hurting. I pray they are better today. Thanks for always uplifting me, my sweet Georgia Peach! ❤ ❤ ❤

Absolutely wonderful Natalie. How are you, btw? I’m on a brief Hiatus until mid-March. My mom is here visiting. I wanted to see how you are, and when you will be having surgery. I will pray for you, my friend.

Thanks, Staci. My pre-op EKG was abnormal and they had to send me to a cardiologist. It seems that the electrial impulse to the left side of my heart is a little slow. So last week, I saw the cardiologist who said that this sometimes happens as we age and that it’s not enough of a delay at this time to warrant a pacemaker. However, he wanted to make sure it was not the result of heart disease so he sent me to have a stress test which was today. So unless something from the test indicates otherwise, the surgery has been rescheduled for Thursday, February 26th. I should know that tomorrow or the next day. Thanks for asking. I hope you are enjoying this time with your mom. Love, N ❤

Gorgeous photos. That scripture is beautiful – maybe that is why I love sunrises and sunsets – a reminder of what God has given me.
