790. Okay, I’m not amused at Mother Nature’s bit of irony…

When we left Texas, I thought we’d have two weeks away from the dreadful heat! But…it seems the “Heat Beast” has been following us EVERYWHERE. Strausbourg is a beautiful city, but as in Paris and Milano, it is as smoldering hot here this summer as it is in Texas. We leave here at 6 PM on our Rhine River cruise, and I sure hope it’s cooler on the water! Blessings to all!!!

  1. I hope it is cooler on the water too. Yes, mother nature can be fickle and I think she is ‘playing’ with you this year. Then again it’s not just you. There were a couple of days last week that Montana, Idaho and Washington state were getting the scorching heat but we were comfortable.:)

  4. We have had two very hot days in the UK Natalie, but it is much cooler today with some very welcome rain. Hope the heat is not spoiling your holiday too much. Enjoy the cruise.

  5. Yes, this is definitely their HOT season. Most Parisians are at “the shore.” I hope your River Cruise gives you some relief. We are cold in Chicago…in the 50s last night and this morning. Wish I could send some of the coolness your way. Have fun and enjoy the food:)
