How wonderful it must be to be a butterfly
floating gracefully on the soft, gentle breeze of a warm summer day
on beautiful, magnificent wings that are your own
Alighting on the colorful petals of hundreds of flowers in full bloom
and feasting on sweet, delicious nectar all day.
Ah yes, how wonderful it must be to be a butterfly…

So pretty and elegant—I’ve noticed here recently that I am not seeing nearly the number of butterflies that I usually see—which has me a bit concerned–just a few of the little skippers. . .

I didn’t see many last year, but I’m seeing quite a few this year thankfully. I’m not sure why, but I’m grateful.
