  1. Powerful, yet not entirely scriptural….
    We certainly love unconditionally, but true love warns, and we are instructed in 1 Thessalonians 5:14 to “warn the unruly” which is not a sugesstion. If we coddle and love them just as they are, never push them to.conform to Christ’s image, then we love them right into hell. How is that love??
    Sorry so harsh, but my concept of love is slightly different that total acceptance of a sinful nature so that they may be perfectly comfortable in who they are. Just sayin…..

    • I don’t think this implied supporting a person’s sinful nature. It does imply that the Lord made us to be who we are and not what someone else thinks we should be. Of course we need to love someone enough to help them conform to Christ’s image, but I think that can be done within the limits of accepting what the Lord has made. 🙂
