Well it is September 22nd and the Autumnal Equinox has arrived, and I’ve read blogs about autumn vignettes and colors elsewhere. However, we are still in the 90’s here and what hasn’t fried in the heat is still green. I love autumn and look so forward to it and the cooler temps it brings, but I shall have to wait a while for it to show up. Those of you who live where it has arrived and is already in progress, enjoy, enjoy, enjoy the “magic hour” that autumn is.

it was near 90 here yesterday as well…and we’re more brown and shriveled, not yet colorful and crunchy….but today being that first day of Autumn, my daughter-n-law made the announcement that they are expecting a little girl, to be named….you guessed it, Autumn…
a least that is something full of hopeful color 🙂

Awwwwww I love that name for a girl! I’d make it Autumn Grace. And yes that is something full of hopeful color! When is the baby due? You will love having a little girl for a granddaughter! 😊❤️

Well, I just know boys so this will be different….she’s due in February….
I killed blasted fire ants all day today, walking all over the yard sprinkling mounds with poison—that is the only reason I look forward to winter—that and I was sweating like a pig in 90 degree heat!!!!

They are different that’s for sure! Little girls are sweet and usually very loving more outwardly than boys I think! Less your heart! I’m so sick of the heat and I hate fire ants! Hope you didn’t get bitten❣️😘🐔🌵

Love this and yes, Fall is starting here. Leaves have been in the process of turning colors for a while now and have had days of cooler air. So ready for the cool to come in and stick around. 🙂 🙂
