to God and thank you Jesus!!! We just got back from the doctor’s office. The pathology report showed that he had gotten it all and that it had NOT spread to the fatty layer where it could and would spread. James and I have been blessed with so many miracles in our lives, and we are both so very thankful for the Lord’s abiding grace, mercies, and faithfulness. Next month I will be 75 and James will be 82 and we have spent 54 of those years together. I am so grateful, Lord, that it is not over yet for the two of us you joined together so long ago. Now for some quiet praise, chocolate, and tears of joy. Before I sign off though, I want to thank all of you for the heartfelt comments and prayers. May all of you be so very blessed as well! Love and hugs, Natalie

Wisdom to Live By: Part 4 – Life is a Gift

wisewoodpidgeon's avatarsanctuary5014

Life is a gift

I love this – that sense that a) life is a gift and recognising that it is precious and of value; that there are choices and opportunities, and b) the sense that I have a responsibility to use it wisely and to give back by giving of myself to others – whether that be giving my time, my talents, a listening ear, being hospitable, whatever.
I love that sense of balance, that we’ve been given a gift but that there are responsibilities that go with the gift. It’s a good reminder.

“O, to be sure, we laugh less and play less and
wear uncomfortable disguises like adults,
but beneath the costume is the child we always are,
whose needs are simple,
whose daily life is still best described
by fairy tales.”

Calling all…

prayer warriors. A week ago James’ dermatologist found a silver dollar sized melanoma on top of his head which he attempted to remove today. The pathology report has been sent off and now we wait to see if he got it all. Please pray that the doc was able to get it all of the cancer and nothing remains now but clean margins. It is the name of Jesus Christ that I myself am lifting James up unto the Lord and asking for complete healing and restoration of his health! Amen! 🙏

I’m am just too tired and too concerned tonight to concentrate on reading posts and answering comments. Please forgive me. I hope to be back along side all of you soon. Love and blessings, Natalie
