Thanks and yes it is!!! My oldest grandson suffered a heinous trauma and had to be hospitalized for months last year but praise the Lord he got to come home in January and he gets better every day! It was an assault that had and will forever change him and his life but we pray for and believe he will be able some day to be able to put it completely behind him and find happiness and trust again.
No. It has been narrowed down to several but Alex can’t be sure or won’t say which one it was. It happened when he was 10 years old but he repressed it until he was 14. He began then cutting himself and eventually attempted to take his life 3 times. It wasn’t until he was hospitalized that psychological tests threw up a host of red flags that he had been sexually assaulted. I cannot even tell you how much I adore this boy and how hard it has been on all of of us! He was born in Guatemala and adopted at birth by my daughter and son-in-law, and I fell in love with him the instant they put him in my arms. 😊
